In my spare time, I love to curl up with a good novel, romance and mysteries being my favorites. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s learning and providing an environment warm with the Christian spirit where your child will learn and grow in God’s love.

Sara Godwin – Assistant Director/Pre-K Teacher

I have been with Apple Tree since 2007.  My education experience was originally in the field of nursing and as an EMT. When I decided that I wanted to go back to work after being a stay at home mom, teaching seemed like a logical and exciting fit. I received my Director Credential Certification at Front Range Community College and have been immersing myself in the wonderful world of Early Childhood Education ever since! Pre K children have a special place in my heart and I absolutely love learning from them every day!  I have two children, one in college and one still in high school. In my spare time, I love to read, hike, and spend time with my family.

Elizabeth Butler – Enrichment and Science

My background includes a Masters in Elementary Ed. and seven years as an Assistant Director at an Early Childhood center. Over the years, I’ve discovered that I most enjoy working with pre-school age children.  Their curiosity and lack of inhibition makes every day a new adventure – for all of us! In the hours not at school, I am home with my husband, three kids 15, 13 & 10, and my 2 “adoptees”, whom I care for three afternoons a week.  We also share our home with a dog, guinea pig, 2 frogs and numerous fish.  I love to garden, cook and make stuff, whether that be with my table saw, glue gun or plain old paper and pens.
